What do you think?

danganronpa if it was good.

jk jk, the game IS actually pretty good. a fun adventure-style rpg maker game with some thriller elements thrown in and a cutesy anime style that's a trap for the actual game is all about murder! fun stuff. the location design is neat in that despite most of the school being empty the key points are usually marked in one way or another so that you're never lost, though i still wish there was some optional stuff - perhaps small conversations from the mc, Eve and Lily while they're scouring the place for people. the game also boasts good sound design and some SLEEK transitions - the main menu looks swag and the animation for the beginning of the first semester was NICE.

some other things of note that i've wrote down while playing:

  • the biblical references are nice, though a bit too on the nose. should've named my guy Adam instead of Arthur xP where's Noah, though? is that the blue haired guy?

  • the portraits for all of the characters look like children which is probably fitting since they're all school students but still. they make the killing game all the more gruesome, though - it's like lord of the flies but in rpg maker form! :D

  • there's a shadow tile on the second floor on the left that's clipping into the ceiling. lmao

  • in the room where someone already took the weapon the mc says "implcations" - missed an "i" there.

i hope to see this game grow and develop, as well as make videos for it for it deserves to be well known. you've put great effort into it, Toya. wish you and the game well :)

Quite curious how you would initiate the class trials, would the game shift into 3D? How would we refute our schoolmates? Would you make mini-games just like in the Danganronpa franchise? I would be amazed to see someone actually make that in the RPG maker software~

Overall the game is fantastic, many unique characters and they're filled with personality! (Just like in Danganronpa!) Also if there are interactables like opening closets or lets say, glass shards that does a sound effect when you step on it, simple and a nice detail like that, is a very very great thing in the game even if its just a small detail, good job~!

No complaints or stuff that needed to be fixed so far, the game is great as it is. Looking forward to it! Good luck~

So far so good, can't wait to see the rest of the game

Amazing demo, really left me hanging at the end. I'm looking forward to the full version very much. The graphics suit the game. However, for me, the music is a bit loud lol. Good luck on the project!

10 people find themselves in an abandoned school, with only one gruesome way to escape... #fangame #horror #rpg #danganronpa #rpgmaker #murder #mystery #murdermystery #danganronpafangame #fangan

This is a fan game heavily inspired by Danganronpa, by Kazutaka Kodaka. And uses several assets such as music and concepts from it. I am in no way related to Spike Chunsoft.

I suppose the one good thing to come out of getting a computer virus is now I'm familiar with how that kind of thing could scare someone. And possibly how to invoke it in a game

So the game may be taking a small break. It seems I've somehow gotten a virus on my PC

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I can release the first chapter by May 19th. I still have a lot to do and I don't wanna rush it and affect the quality. I'm trying, but it'll probably be sometime in the summer

Depending on how much time I have, I wanna bake a cake to celebrate the game's one year anniversary

I recently got a great idea on how to improve investigation. I'm not gonna reveal it yet, it's still just a concept (plus there's a lot more that needs to be done). But trust me the investigation is gonna get a lot more interesting

Yes, the release date for the first chapter of Kill High is May 19th. Or so I'm hoping. The game's not done yet, still got a lot of work to do, but May 19th is my deadline. I plan to have the game in a finished and suitable state by then.

I'm getting some really good ideas for like an edge lord dark fantasy JRPG. All it took was reading the worst thing I've ever seen in my life.

I can see why Danganronpa had 16 students, it's hard to keep who did it a mystery when there's only a few people and half of them are clearly heavily story important.

I don't think I've put more time into any other activity than RPG Maker

I'm sorry, I know the poll voted M rating. But this game is gonna deal with some incredibly dark subject matter. Respectfully of course, but still very dark. However, this will result in a better game, I assure all of you.
